SUMEC Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. is committed to ensuring the cybersecurity of its CPE products by maintaining a clear and transparent product support policy. This policy includes the provision of timely software and firmware updates specifically aimed at addressing identified security vulnerabilities.
The support policy may vary depending on specific models, product lines, or categories. However, at a minimum, all CPE products sold to any customer — whether an individual or a legal entity — are covered by a baseline commitment to security updates.
Security updates will be provided for a minimum of two (2) years after the official discontinuation of the product’s manufacturing.
The company clearly informs customers about the duration and specific conditions under which security updates will be made available. This includes the criteria for determining whether a vulnerability merits an update and the types of threats covered under the update policy.
